Ultimately, Nancy is and probably forever will be my favorite OG yoga teacher in Manila. A gem of a teacher who I will always be thankful for.
Tried my first Jivamukti class today, and Teacher Nancy was amazing. She really knows her stuff-from creating a safe, welcoming space to offering spot-on verbal cues, all with a calm, soothing voice that makes you feel totally at ease. If you're into a slow, steady, and strong flow-with bits of wisdom that somehow reach deep into your mind as you move through the poses-this class is something special.
Class so good I almost want to gatekeep it.
Jivamukti is a bit more challenging than your usual yoga. What I appreciated here is that more than the poses, we go back to the roots and pay respect to the core of what yoga really is. There was this spiritual awakening that made me more aware of myself, my body, and everything around me.
Enjoyed this yoga session a lot. Nancy gave clear instructions and was very helpful. My first time to do a headstand (assisted)! My back is thanking me from all the hours slouching in the office.
First time trying Jivamuki and it was enriching! It's both tranquil and heart racing. It's a deeper expression of yoga, incorporating more of the 8 limbs into the practice. Nancy is very thorough in guiding the students, gently pushing them to their full potential especially during asana.
A different kind of yoga experience. I like that the teacher clearly explains everything at the start, and reminds you that you're not forced to do stuff. I also really like the no phones rule, she also explains why. There are small consent cards at the top of the mat so that she knows if she can adjust your pose to put you into a deeper stretch. This is good especially for intermediate to advanced practitioners since she can guide you to do a headstand or another complicated pose, but even for beginners I would recommend this session.
I LOVE the class so much! The instructor was so lovely and loved every intention. I don't practice yoga but l've watched some basic videos at home a few years ago. It is definitely not a foundational class. I think you will need to have some knowledge to do some poses because the instructor will just verbally dictate what to do next.
Thankfully I was able to follow from some classmates in front of me. Nonetheless you can do whatever fits for you and you have the option to allow the instructor to improve or further your pose. Overall it was a true SAFE SPACE. I really recommend this and I will be back when I get the chance. Best way to spend my Friday evening.
Class was great! The teacher was able to give a good description on how to execute the poses without having her to demonstrate. It is great that she provides modifications for poses to include people of all levels. She was also open to questions.
I think this class embodies the true definition of relaxing and meditating yoga.
Nancy's voice was really comforting and relaxing which makes the whole experience even more worth it. I'd definitely come back and book a class with her again.

l asked the teacher if this is fast paced as the description says "dynamic". She did not give a straight answer. After the class, when she asked how it was, I answered it was slow but intense!!! And then she said, that's why I could not answer your question. Will definitely book again!

Teacher Nancy is very intentional with the way she teaches. If you are looking for a legitimate spiritual yoga class, you should definitely book this class.

Teacher Nancy doesn't just lead you through a series of poses, she legitimately embodies the heart and mind connection. If you want a deep but digestible yoga session that comes with a reminder of how we can tap into our humanity, this is the class to take. Would definitely go back!
This is the best practice I've ever attended.
Instructor was amazing, so gentle when moving us and you don't feel corrected because she's so thorough. It's like she's teaching the whole class rather than fixing your mistake. Would recommend!
Loved how Teacher Nancy incorporated short meditation breaks in her fast-paced vinyasa class.
She's also attentive and gave additional queues for beginners. Will definitely come back again!

Teacher Nancy is among the best yoga teachers I have met. She is an excellent Jivamukti yoga teacher, she's inspirational, I love her big heart, her love and dedication to teach us the true meaning of Yoga on and off the mat!

This class was really good. It's my first ever yoga class after stopping 3 years ago and it got me fired up. It may have been too intense but will definitely book again after I get back on track!

She's very accommodating, and really does hands-on teaching! Though there's an option to say no, l'd prefer to be taught with postures and she's really teaching you!! Perfect for after work to be away from the busy city :)

Teacher Nancy was gentle and she offered variations fit for every level. I never once felt intimidated with the practice even though it was my first time in the studio and first time joining the Jivamukti class! It was equal parts challenging and relaxing. 10/10 would do it again!
It was my first time trying Jivamukti class. The pacing is pretty manageable - most poses are held for 5 full breaths. Teacher Nancy is also very supportive in helping correct our poses when needed. She also helped us try the forearm stand for the first time.
Love the energy of Teacher Nancy. She gave good cues, including modification of poses. She also did adjustments (with consent). Will be back!
The practice gives focus not only on the physical forms but also mindfulness; probably my well-integrated and balanced yoga experience yet.
Appreciate Teacher Nancy for setting up such a safe and immersive space. Fully encouraged everyone to be offline for the 90 minutes and encouraged students to keep at their own pace. Open to first timers for Jivamukti, but might be challenging for complete first timers for yoga as it relied heavily on verbal cues than demonstrations. Would be back!

Every class is different and honestly I'm getting addicted.
Teacher Nancy's intentions are AMAZING. There's a great balance of challenge and gentleness in the Jivamukti class and I can say that the diff poses were possible for a beginner like me because hearing the day's intentions is very effective at developing the necessary mindset to let go of fears and surrender and let the body do what it can do without force and fears.
Fast-paced but good. Instructor is very hands-on and offers you help to fix your form. It’s very relaxing but challenging.
Yin Yoga Class Reviews

I had a very calming practice from this class. Even though the space is a little bit small, the Yin Yoga practice made me feel like I have the whole space for my own. The instructor has a calming voice that feels like wind in the forest. Overall a great experience.

What a way to end the week! I am super happy I got to join this class because it definitely helped me destress and cool down for the weekend. I'm still very new to yoga but Nancy was super patient and kind so i didn't feel out of place at all.

I am so privileged to be able to attend a yoga class where the teacher reads a solidarity statement that honors frontline Palestinian RESISTANCE FIGHTERS. And such awareness from her, to say that simply practicing yoga and praying for peace and liberation is NOT ENOUGH to end a genocide. I am so grateful to meet a yogi who can critique the depoliticization and elitist appropriation of yoga, AND who uses yoga as a means to ACTIVELY and MATERIALLY SUPPORT oppressed peoples.
